Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping high-growth SaaS companies scale, expand into new markets, and refine their go-to-market strategies. From my time at Dropbox, Templafy, and Relesys, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to build a world-class sales organization and drive sustainable enterprise growth. Now, I’m thrilled to embark on a new journey with Laurel, a company that is redefining the future of knowledge work and professional services automation.
Why Laurel?
The first time I met the team at Laurel, I was struck by the clarity of their mission: to return time. Time is the most valuable resource, and knowledge workers—especially in industries like legal, accounting, and consulting—spend an overwhelming amount of their time on administrative tasks that could be automated. Laurel’s approach to automating timekeeping and structuring work data is not only solving a major pain point but also laying the foundation for the future of work automation across industries.
Beyond the mission, what truly stood out to me during the process was the incredible talent density of the team. From leadership to individual contributors, everyone I met was exceptionally smart, driven, and deeply invested in building something truly transformational. It’s rare to see this level of ambition and execution capability in a company at this stage, and I knew immediately that this was a team I wanted to be a part of.
The Opportunity Ahead
Laurel is at a pivotal moment in its journey. As demand for our AI Time platform grows, we need to scale our sales organization in a way that enables us to reach more customers, expand into new markets, and refine our commercial strategy. My focus will be on:
- Building a world-class sales team – Recruiting and developing top talent to ensure we have the right expertise to drive enterprise and mid-market expansion.
- Refining our go-to-market strategy – Ensuring that our sales motion aligns with customer needs, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Accelerating revenue growth – Driving efficiency in our sales process, improving customer engagement, and increasing adoption of Laurel’s platform.
- Educating the market – Bringing awareness to the transformational impact of structuring work data and automating time tracking to optimize how knowledge work is done.
What’s Next?
I’m excited to hit the ground running with the incredible team at Laurel. Over the coming months, my focus will be on listening, learning, and executing—ensuring that we have the right foundation to scale effectively while maintaining the customer-centric approach that has made Laurel successful.
For those who are passionate about sales, enterprise SaaS, and driving impact, we’re hiring. If you’re looking to be part of a fast-growing company where you can make a real difference, I’d love to hear from you.
